1. Medical Services

Scope of Services

Vernon Skin and Hair Clinic provides dermatological, cosmetic, and hair restoration services. All medical services are provided by licensed physicians in accordance with Indian Medical Council regulations and applicable state medical board guidelines.

Medical Disclaimer

Information provided on our website, social media, or during consultations is intended for educational purposes and does not constitute medical advice for any individual. Each patient's condition is unique, and treatment outcomes vary. A thorough in-person consultation is required before any treatment plan is recommended.

No Guarantee of Results

While we strive for the best possible outcomes for every patient, medical and cosmetic procedures carry inherent variability. Results depend on individual factors including skin type, age, medical history, compliance with post-procedure care, and biological healing responses. We do not guarantee specific outcomes for any procedure.

2. Appointments and Cancellations

Booking

Appointments can be booked via phone, WhatsApp, or in person. Booking an appointment constitutes agreement to these Terms.

Cancellations

We request at least 4 hours notice for cancellation or rescheduling of standard consultations. For surgical procedures (including hair transplant surgery), a minimum of 48 hours notice is required, as these procedures require advance preparation of equipment, staff, and supplies.

Late Arrivals

Patients arriving more than 15 minutes late for a scheduled appointment may need to be rescheduled depending on the availability for the remainder of the day. We will make every effort to accommodate late arrivals, but cannot guarantee same-day service.

No-Shows

Repeated no-shows without notice may affect the ability to book future appointments. We understand that emergencies happen and will always accommodate genuine circumstances.

3. Consent for Treatment

Before any procedure, you will be asked to provide informed consent. This includes:

  • Understanding the nature of the proposed treatment
  • Expected outcomes and realistic expectations
  • Potential risks, side effects, and complications
  • Alternative treatment options
  • Expected recovery time and post-procedure care requirements

You have the right to ask questions, request additional information, seek a second opinion, and decline treatment at any stage. Consent for minors (under 18 years) must be provided by a parent or legal guardian.

4. Payment Terms

Fees

Treatment fees are communicated during the consultation and before any procedure begins. Fees are subject to change and are confirmed at the time of booking.

Payment Methods

We accept cash, debit/credit cards, UPI payments, and bank transfers. EMI options are available for select procedures through partner banking institutions.

Refund Policy

Consultation fees are non-refundable once the consultation has been provided. For procedure packages, refund eligibility depends on the stage of treatment and will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. Unused sessions in a package may be eligible for partial refund or credit toward other treatments, at the discretion of clinic management.

5. Patient Responsibilities

As a patient, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete medical history, including all current medications, allergies, and pre-existing conditions
  • Inform your treating physician of any changes in your health status before treatment
  • Follow post-procedure care instructions provided by your physician
  • Attend scheduled follow-up appointments as recommended
  • Report any adverse reactions or unexpected symptoms promptly
  • Maintain honest communication with your treating physician

6. Clinical Photography

Clinical photographs may be taken as part of your medical record to document your condition and track treatment progress. These photographs are:

  • Taken only with your explicit written consent
  • Stored securely as part of your confidential medical record
  • Never shared publicly or used for marketing without separate, specific written consent
  • Used for clinical reference, treatment planning, and quality review

Content
