The ideal lip proportions (lower lip 1.6x the upper lip volume, matching the golden ratio) serve as a guide, but individual facial anatomy always takes priority. Products used: Soft, flexible HA fillers specifically designed for lips (Juvederm Ultra Smile, Restylane Kysse). These contain built-in lidocaine for comfort and are softer than fillers used for cheeks or jawline, ensuring natural movement and feel.
The procedure: Topical numbing cream is applied for 15–20 minutes. Filler is injected using a combination of needle (for precise border work) and cannula (for body volume, safer and less bruising). Total injection time is 15–20 minutes. Results are immediate.
