Profhilo is not a filler. It is a bio-remodeling treatment that represents a completely different approach to skin aging. While fillers add volume to specific areas, Profhilo improves overall skin quality — hydration, elasticity, firmness, and radiance — by stimulating your skin's own regenerative processes.
What makes Profhilo unique:
1. Highest HA concentration available (64mg/2ml): Profhilo contains one of the highest concentrations of hyaluronic acid of any injectable product. But unlike fillers, it is not cross-linked to maintain shape — it is designed to flow and spread, distributing HA broadly across the treatment area.
2. Bio-remodeling, not filling: Profhilo works by stimulating four different types of collagen and elastin production. It activates adipocyte (fat cell) stem cells, counteracting the fat pad atrophy that causes the aged, hollow look. This is fundamentally different from fillers, which simply add physical volume.
3. The BAP (Bio Aesthetic Points) technique: Profhilo is injected at only 5 specific points on each side of the face (10 total injection points). From these points, the product spreads through the tissue layers, distributing hyaluronic acid across the entire face. This means fewer injection points, less discomfort, and more natural distribution than traditional treatments.
What Profhilo treats: Profhilo is indicated for skin that looks tired, dehydrated, crepe-like, or has lost its "bounce." It is particularly effective for the lower face, neck, hands, and decolletage — areas where skin quality deterioration is most visible but fillers would look unnatural.
The protocol: Two sessions, 4 weeks apart. Results begin within 1 week of the first session and continue to improve over 2–3 months. Maintenance every 6 months sustains the results. Most patients describe a visible "glow" and improved skin texture within the first week.
